In Raiders of the Lost Ark, what is the name of the Nazi agent who interrogates Marion Ravenwood?

In Raiders of the Lost Ark, the Nazi agent who interrogates Marion Ravenwood is Major Arnold Toht.

Toht is sent to Nepal to recover the medallion needed to locate the Ark of the Covenant. He arrives at Marion’s bar, attempts to force her to reveal its location, and later follows the Nazi expedition to Egypt. His role is that of an intelligence officer and torturer rather than an archaeologist.

Ronald Lacey played Toht. The character is especially memorable for his burned hand, which results from grabbing the heated medallion after it has been branded into Marion’s palm. Toht is sometimes confused with Colonel Dietrich, who commands the excavation, or Belloq, who serves as Indiana’s archaeological rival.
