Ditto is the player character in Pokémon Pokopia, transforming to look like a human.
This premise uses Ditto’s established Transform ability as the foundation for the game’s unusual life-simulation story. Rather than controlling a human Trainer, players guide a Pokémon that can imitate human form while exploring, gathering materials, crafting furniture, and rebuilding the environment.
Pokopia begins in a withered world where humans are gone. Ditto’s goal is to create a welcoming habitat for Pokémon, gradually turning a desolate landscape into a cozy utopia. The character can also learn and use moves associated with Pokémon it befriends.
Ditto is sometimes confused with Mew because both Pokémon are associated with transformation and unusual biology. In Pokopia, however, the protagonist is specifically Ditto, making its copying ability central to both the story and gameplay.
