Peakychu is a special version of Pikachu in Pokémon Pokopia.
The game describes Peakychu as a Pikachu who has lost the ability to generate electricity. This detail gives the character a distinct story compared with an ordinary Pikachu and fits Pokopia’s broader theme of Pokémon adapting to a damaged world.
Peakychu is one of several special Pokémon encountered during the adventure. Other examples include Smearguru, a talented Smeargle painter; Mosslax, a Snorlax covered with moss and plants; and DJ Rotom, a Rotom possessing a stereo system.
The name may resemble Pichu or Raichu, but Peakychu is specifically based on Pikachu. The character is not presented as an evolution stage or a new species; it is a named individual with a particular history.
