In Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., the receptionist who secretly works for the CDA is Roz.
Roz appears to be the gravelly-voiced receptionist at Monsters, Incorporated, where she handles paperwork and frequently pressures Mike Wazowski to submit his forms. Her stern manner makes her seem like a background office character.
Near the end of the film, Roz reveals that she is actually an undercover agent for the Child Detection Agency. She has been monitoring the factory while investigating the events involving Boo, Randall Boggs, and the scream extractor.
Roz is voiced by Bob Peterson, who also served as a writer and storyboard artist on the film. A common mix-up is confusing Roz with Celia Mae, Mike’s girlfriend and the company’s receptionist for the Scare Floor.
