Chick Hicks receives the Piston Cup after causing a crash at the finale of Pixar’s Cars.
During the decisive race, Hicks deliberately bumps The King, Strip Weathers, causing the veteran champion to crash. Lightning McQueen then stops before the finish line and pushes The King across it instead of accepting an easy victory.
Because McQueen refuses to finish while The King is injured, Chick crosses the line first and is officially awarded the Piston Cup. The achievement is immediately overshadowed by the crowd’s condemnation of his unsportsmanlike conduct.
