Which actor voices Mater in all three main Pixar Cars films?

Larry the Cable Guy voices Mater in all three main Pixar Cars films.

Mater is the rusty tow truck from Radiator Springs whose humor, loyalty, and straightforward personality make him one of the franchise's best-known characters. Larry the Cable Guy, the stage name of comedian Daniel Lawrence Whitney, supplies Mater's voice in Cars, Cars 2, and Cars 3.

Mater's role changes across the trilogy. In Cars, he becomes Lightning McQueen's close friend. In Cars 2, he is central to the spy storyline and is mistaken for an American agent. In Cars 3, he returns to Radiator Springs as part of Lightning's support network. The voice credit is sometimes confused with Owen Wilson, who voices Lightning McQueen.
