In Pixar's Cars, which race car is the film's main antagonist?

Chick Hicks is the main antagonist race car in Pixar's Cars.

Chick is Lightning McQueen's aggressive rival in the Piston Cup season. He is determined to defeat the veteran champion Strip Weathers, known as The King, and sees Lightning as a dangerous newcomer. Chick's willingness to use dirty tactics contrasts with the sportsmanship Lightning gradually learns.

Michael Keaton voices Chick Hicks. The character's green paint, moustache-like grille, and racing number 86 distinguish him from Lightning's red number 95.

Chick is the principal racing antagonist in the first film, while later entries introduce different rivals such as Francesco Bernoulli and Jackson Storm. He should not be confused with The King, who is Lightning's respected competitor and mentor figure.
