In Pixar's Cars, what is the name of the town's former champion racer?

Doc Hudson is the former champion racer in Pixar's Cars.

Doc is the quiet physician and judge of Radiator Springs, but Lightning McQueen eventually learns that he once competed as the Fabulous Hudson Hornet. Doc won three Piston Cups before a crash ended his racing career and left him disillusioned with the racing world.
