Luigi is the eccentric tire dealer in Pixar’s Cars.
Luigi owns Luigi’s Casa Della Tires in Radiator Springs and is an enthusiastic fan of Ferrari racing. He is a small yellow Fiat 500, and his shop displays an enormous collection of Ferrari tires. His character brings Italian automotive culture into a story otherwise strongly shaped by American road history.
Luigi is often mentioned together with Guido, his blue forklift assistant and best friend. The two characters share a strong passion for Ferrari, but they have different roles: Luigi runs the tire shop, while Guido works as a tire-changing pit-crew specialist. Their excitement becomes especially important when Michael Schumacher appears near the end of the film.
