In Pixar's Cars 3, who voices the trainer Cruz Ramirez?

In Pixar's Cars 3, Cristela Alonzo voices Cruz Ramirez.

Cruz is introduced as Lightning McQueen's high-tech trainer at the Rust-eze Racing Center. She initially approaches racing through data, simulations, and modern training systems, while McQueen relies more heavily on experience and instinct.

As the story develops, Cruz becomes more than McQueen's coach. She reveals her own unrealized ambition to become a racer, and McQueen eventually recognizes her talent. Their relationship gives Cars 3 its central theme of mentorship and passing opportunity to a new generation.

Alonzo's performance is part of the film's English-language voice cast, which also includes Owen Wilson as McQueen and Armie Hammer as Jackson Storm. Cruz Ramirez is not the name of McQueen's trainer in the earlier films; she was created specifically for Cars 3's story about changing racing technology and careers.
