In Pixar's Cars 3, Cruz Ramirez uses number 95 when she races for Rust-eze.
Cruz begins the film as Lightning McQueen's high-tech trainer at the Rust-eze Racing Center. Although she has racing ability, she has been directed toward coaching rather than competing. After McQueen recognizes her talent and encourages her, she enters the final race in his place.
Cruz's yellow race car is redesigned with Rust-eze colors and McQueen's number 95. She defeats Jackson Storm at the Florida International Super Speedway, while McQueen adopts Doc Hudson's old number 51 for a later racing appearance. This makes the number change meaningful: 95 represents McQueen's legacy, while 51 honors Doc's racing history.
Cruz does not permanently replace McQueen as the only Rust-eze racer. The ending presents them as teammates, with Cruz beginning her own racing career and McQueen taking a mentor role. Number 95 is therefore a specific race identity in the film's climax, not Cruz's original trainer designation.
