In Pixar’s Cars 3, what is the name of the fictional speedway hosting the final race?

Florida International Super Speedway hosts the final race in Pixar’s Cars 3.

The fictional Florida track is the setting for the climactic Florida 500, where Lightning McQueen faces Jackson Storm. The race becomes important not only as a contest between two generations of racers but also as a turning point for Cruz Ramirez.

The speedway and race are invented for the film, although their design draws on familiar features of major American stock-car venues. The Florida 500 functions as the film’s equivalent of a championship finale.

Cars 3 uses this race to resolve McQueen’s crisis about aging and competition. His choices during the event show that racing success can involve mentorship, teamwork, and passing knowledge to the next generation.
