In Pixar's Cars 2, which real Formula One champion voices the character Lewis Hamilton?

Lewis Hamilton voices the character Lewis Hamilton in Pixar's Cars 2.

The real British Formula One champion provides the voice for an animated version of himself. In the film, Lewis Hamilton is a sophisticated racer and a member of the security effort surrounding the World Grand Prix, making him part of both the racing and spy-story elements.

This is a self-voicing role: the character's name, identity, and voice performer all match. Hamilton also appears in the Cars franchise's wider cast of real-world motorsport personalities, helping connect Pixar's fictional racing universe with actual automotive culture.

The role is sometimes confused with the character Jeff Gorvette, who is voiced by NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. Hamilton is not the voice of Francesco Bernoulli; that Italian rival is voiced by actor John Turturro.
