In Pixar's Cars 2, which racer wins the first World Grand Prix race in Tokyo?

In Pixar's Cars 2, Francesco Bernoulli wins the first World Grand Prix race in Tokyo.

Francesco is an Italian Formula-style race car and Lightning McQueen's most prominent sporting rival in the film. His speed, confidence, and theatrical personality create a competitive contrast with Lightning, who is trying to establish himself on an international stage.

The Tokyo race is the opening event of the World Grand Prix. Lightning and Francesco battle closely, but Francesco takes the victory. Later races move to Italy and London, where the competition becomes entangled with the plot involving Allinol and the lemons.

Francesco Bernoulli is voiced by John Turturro. The character's Italian identity and open-wheel design distinguish him from Lightning's stock-car-inspired appearance. Lewis Hamilton and Shu Todoroki are also racers in the event, but neither is the Tokyo winner.
