In Pixar’s Cars 2, Finn McMissile is the British spy investigating the oil-platform attack.
Finn is an Aston Martin-inspired secret agent who investigates a group connected to a mysterious weapon and an alternative fuel conspiracy. His mission brings him to Tokyo, where he encounters Mater and initially assumes that the American tow truck may be an undercover operative.
Michael Caine provides Finn’s voice in the English-language film. The character’s design and manner deliberately draw on classic British spy-film traditions, while the story places those conventions inside Pixar’s vehicle-based world.
Finn works alongside Holley Shiftwell, a fellow agent. Their investigation eventually exposes the connection between the World Grand Prix, Allinol, and the film’s antagonists.
