In Pixar’s Cars 2, which character is a British spy who partners with Lightning McQueen?

Finn McMissile is the British spy who partners with Lightning McQueen in Pixar’s Cars 2.

Finn is an expert secret agent voiced by Michael Caine. He recruits Lightning’s friend Mater after mistaking Mater’s accidental observations for evidence of sophisticated espionage. The resulting adventure takes the characters from the World Grand Prix to an international conspiracy.

Finn McMissile was designed as a classic British spy car, drawing on the visual language of vehicles associated with espionage films. He is not the film’s villain: Professor Zündapp works with the antagonists, while Miles Axlerod is revealed as the central mastermind. Finn returns in the Cars Toons short “Air Mater.”
