In Pixar's Cars 2, what is the name of the villainous professor who works for the lemons?

The story behind the answer

Professor Zündapp is the villainous scientist working with the lemons in Pixar's Cars 2.

Zündapp is a small German car modeled after a Zündapp Janus, a compact vehicle produced by the German company Zündapp in the 1950s. In the film, he helps develop the plot involving Allinol, an alternative fuel promoted during the World Grand Prix.

The lemons are a group of historically unsuccessful car models whose members include Miles Axlerod, the film's main villain. Their plan uses electromagnetic technology to make Allinol-powered cars appear to explode, damaging the fuel's reputation and advancing their own interests.

Professor Zündapp is voiced by Thomas Kretschmann in the English version. His name is sometimes written without the umlaut as Zuendapp in English-language text, but the character's displayed name is Professor Zündapp. Cars 2 was released in 2011 and moved the series from small-town racing into an international spy adventure.
