In Pixar’s Cars 2, the Japanese racer in the World Grand Prix is Shu Todoroki.
Shu is a sleek Le Motor Prototype-style race car who represents Japan during the international competition. He is one of the racers challenging Lightning McQueen as the World Grand Prix travels between major locations.
The World Grand Prix is organized by Sir Miles Axlerod and is designed to promote Allinol, an alternative fuel. Its three races take place in Tokyo, Porto Corso, and London, bringing together competitors from several countries.
Francesco Bernoulli represents Italy, while Raoul ÇaRoule represents France, so those names are sometimes confused with Shu’s. Cars 2 was released in 2011 and expands the franchise beyond Radiator Springs by combining racing with an international spy adventure involving Mater, Finn McMissile, and Holley Shiftwell.
