In Pixar's Cars 2, the fuel advertised as an alternative to petroleum is Allinol.
Allinol is promoted by billionaire oil magnate Miles Axlerod as an environmentally friendly fuel for the World Grand Prix. The product becomes central to the film's mystery when cars using it begin to crash after electromagnetic pulses are triggered.
The plot later reveals that the apparent fuel crisis is part of a conspiracy. The lemons, a group of disgruntled and historically ridiculed cars, plan to discredit alternative fuel by making Allinol appear dangerous and restoring petroleum's dominance.
Allinol is a fictional brand created for the film. It should not be confused with Rust-eze, Lightning McQueen's sponsor, or Dinoco, the famous fuel company associated with racing in the Cars universe. Cars 2 uses the invented fuel to combine international racing with an espionage story.
