In Pixar’s Cars 2, what is the name of the British spy who partners with Mater?

In Pixar’s Cars 2, the British spy who partners with Mater is Finn McMissile.

Finn McMissile is an experienced intelligence agent who investigates a conspiracy connected with the World Grand Prix and the alternative fuel Allinol. He initially mistakes Mater’s accidental observations for evidence of deliberate espionage, which draws the tow truck into the mission.

Finn’s design pays tribute to classic British spy cars. He is voiced by Michael Caine, whose film career includes many espionage roles, making the casting an intentional genre reference. Finn uses gadgets, disguises, and investigative skills that are unusual for the racing-centered Cars films.

Holley Shiftwell is another British intelligence agent, but she is not the character who first recruits Mater into the operation. Professor Zündapp is one of the conspirators, while Miles Axlerod is the event organizer whose actions become central to the plot.
