Finn McMissile is the British spy who helps Mater uncover the conspiracy in Pixar’s Cars 2.
Finn is an experienced intelligence agent who investigates suspicious activity surrounding the World Grand Prix. He initially mistakes Mater for an American agent, but Mater’s accidental involvement eventually helps expose the scheme targeting cars that use Allinol.
The character is styled after classic British spy-film heroes. His vehicle design combines features associated with grand touring cars and espionage gadgets, including hidden weapons and surveillance equipment. Michael Caine provides Finn’s English voice.
Holley Shiftwell is a different British intelligence agent and becomes Mater’s partner and love interest. Professor Zündapp is one of the villains, while Sir Miles Axlerod is the public figure behind the World Grand Prix and the conspiracy’s central antagonist. These names are therefore easy to mix up.
