In Pixar’s Cars 2, Holley Shiftwell is the British spy car who partners with Finn McMissile.

Holley is an agent stationed in Tokyo who helps investigate the threat surrounding the World Grand Prix. She is an advanced sports car equipped with spy technology, and she initially expects Mater to be a trained American field operative. That misunderstanding drives much of their comic interaction.

Emily Mortimer voices Holley in the English-language film. Her character combines the familiar secret-agent imagery of the sequel with a role as Mater’s romantic interest. Holley also contributes practical intelligence and technical expertise while Finn handles more traditional fieldwork.
