Finn is designed as a classic British spy-car character, with gadgets, disguises, and a refined manner. His vehicle design evokes the grand-touring and espionage cars associated with British spy fiction, but he is an original Cars character rather than a direct portrayal of a real agent.
Michael Caine voices Finn in the English version. The character is sometimes confused with Rod Redline, an American agent whose mission begins the film’s espionage storyline.
