Miles Axlerod is the billionaire who owns the Allinol fuel company in Pixar's Cars 2.
Axlerod presents himself as a former oil baron who has become an environmental investor. He creates the World Grand Prix to promote Allinol, a supposedly clean alternative fuel, and uses the event to attract worldwide attention.
The spy plot eventually reveals that Axlerod is secretly responsible for the conspiracy surrounding the fuel. The plan is designed to make Allinol appear dangerous when cars react to electromagnetic pulses, damaging the fuel's reputation and restoring demand for petroleum.
Axlerod's identity is one of Cars 2's central reveals. He is voiced by Eddie Izzard and serves as the film's hidden antagonist, while Professor Zündapp acts as a visible collaborator.
