In Pixar's Cars 2 (2011), Finn McMissile is the secret agent who partners with Mater.

Finn McMissile is a British spy car voiced by Michael Caine. He investigates a conspiracy connected to the World Grand Prix and initially believes that the American spy Rod Redline may have uncovered important information about the plot.

Mater becomes involved after Finn mistakes him for an American intelligence agent. Although Mater is not a trained spy, his unusual behavior and accidental discoveries help him contribute to Finn's investigation. Their partnership drives the film's espionage storyline.

Finn is distinct from the film's other named agents and villains. Holley Shiftwell is another British intelligence operative, while Professor Zündapp works with the conspirators. Miles Axlerod presents himself as an energy entrepreneur and World Grand Prix organizer, making his identity central to the mystery.
