In Norse mythology, which god owns the ship Skíðblaðnir, known for always having favorable wind?

The story behind the answer

In Norse mythology, Freyr owns the ship Skíðblaðnir, which is known for always having favorable wind. The ship is one of the remarkable treasures made by dwarfs for the gods.

Skíðblaðnir is described as large enough to carry all the gods and their equipment, yet it can be folded up like cloth and stored in a pouch. Its magical sailing ability makes it an ideal possession for Freyr, a god associated with prosperity and fertility.

The ship is not the same as Naglfar, the vessel connected with the forces arriving at Ragnarok. Naglfar belongs to the apocalyptic conflict, while Skíðblaðnir is a divine treasure.

Freyr later gives Skíðblaðnir to his son Fjölnir in some traditions, but the ship is most famously identified as Freyr’s possession.
