In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the first track in the Mushroom Cup is Mario Kart Stadium.

Mario Kart Stadium is an original course designed as an introductory race. It takes place inside a large stadium surrounded by spectators, banners, advertisements, fireworks, and a city skyline. Its broad layout gives new players room to learn steering, drifting, item use, and the game’s anti-gravity mechanics.

The track begins with ordinary asphalt before moving into an anti-gravity section, where racers can drive along a wall-like portion of the course. A gliding ramp near the end adds another feature without making the opening race especially difficult.

Players sometimes confuse Mario Kart Stadium with Toad Harbor, which is also in the Mushroom Cup. Toad Harbor is the second track, followed by Twisted Mansion and Shy Guy Falls. Mario Kart Stadium first appeared in Mario Kart 8 on Wii U and returned in the Deluxe edition for Nintendo Switch.
