In Lost, which character uses the alias Henry Gale while imprisoned by the survivors?
Answer
Benjamin Linus
Answer
Benjamin Linus
In Lost, Benjamin Linus uses the alias Henry Gale while imprisoned by the survivors. He initially claims to be an innocent balloonist from Minnesota.
The survivors capture him after he enters their camp, and he gives the name Henry Gale. They later discover that the real Henry Gale died on the island and that the prisoner is actually Benjamin Linus, a leader of the Others.
The alias storyline is central to season 2 because it creates uncertainty about Benjamin’s identity and intentions. Tom Friendly is another Other who interacts with the survivors, but he is not the man using the Henry Gale identity. Michael Dawson is also involved in the Others’ plans but does not use this alias.
