In Lost, what was the name of the research organization that employed Juliet Burke?

The story behind the answer

In Lost, the research organization that employed Juliet Burke was Mittelos Bioscience.

Mittelos Bioscience was a company used by the Others to recruit Juliet, a fertility specialist. Richard Alpert presents the organization as an opportunity for her to conduct important research, but the recruitment process conceals the fact that the work will take place on the island.

Juliet accepts the position partly because she hopes to help her sister, Rachel, whose pregnancy is endangered. Once on the island, Juliet discovers that the Others want her expertise because pregnancies on the island frequently end in death.

Mittelos Bioscience is not the same as the DHARMA Initiative. The organization functions as an outside-world cover for the Others, while DHARMA was the scientific project that previously established stations and settlements across the island.
