In Logan, which actor plays the villain Donald Pierce?

Boyd Holbrook plays Donald Pierce in Logan.

Donald Pierce is the leader of the Reavers, a group pursuing Logan, Professor Xavier, and the young mutant Laura. In the film, Pierce works for Transigen and uses advanced technology and armed forces to track children connected to the company’s experiments.

Holbrook’s Pierce is a human antagonist rather than a mutant with a traditional superpower. His mechanical arm and command of the Reavers visually connect him to the cybernetic hunters from the comics, while the film gives the character a more direct role in the pursuit narrative.

Logan also stars Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart, who portray Wolverine and Charles Xavier respectively. Because Stewart plays a major opposing figure within the story, he is sometimes incorrectly identified as the film’s main human villain. Logan was released in 2017.
