In Logan, what is the name of the young mutant played by Dafne Keen?

Dafne Keen plays Laura Kinney, the young mutant at the center of Logan.

Laura is also associated with the codename X-23. In the film, she possesses abilities resembling Wolverine’s, including retractable claws and an accelerated healing factor. Her connection to Logan drives the story as he protects her while traveling toward a rumored refuge for mutant children.

Laura is based on the Marvel Comics character X-23, who was introduced in the animated series X-Men: Evolution before becoming a major comics character. The film adapts the character’s background while giving her a prominent role in a western-influenced road story.

Dafne Keen was born in 2005 and made her film debut in Logan. Hugh Jackman played Logan, and Patrick Stewart played Charles Xavier. The movie was directed by James Mangold and released in 2017.
