In Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid, what middle school does Greg Heffley attend?

In Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Greg Heffley attends Larry Mack Junior Middle School.

The first book presents Greg as a middle-school student who receives a diary from his mother. He uses it to record school life, friendships, family problems, playground rumors, and his attempts to improve his social position.

Larry Mack Junior Middle School is the school setting for much of Greg’s narration. His best friend is Rowley Jefferson, while the school’s students also spread the story of the Cheese Touch, a fictional playground taboo involving a piece of moldy cheese.

The book was originally published online as a serial before becoming a print novel in 2007. Later film adaptations use different school names or locations, so readers sometimes incorrectly attach another school to the original book.
