Answer
The Wet Bandits
In Home Alone (1990), Harry and Marv call themselves the Wet Bandits.
The nickname comes from their habit of leaving water running in the homes they burglarize. Harry Lime and Marv Murchins are the film’s central pair of burglars, played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern.
Their plan to rob homes in a Chicago suburb is disrupted by Kevin McCallister, an eight-year-old accidentally left behind during his family’s Christmas trip. Kevin protects the house with improvised traps, turning the burglars’ repeated attempts into the film’s main comic set pieces.
The pair later appear in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, where they rename themselves the Sticky Bandits after changing their method. That sequel is why the two nicknames are sometimes mixed up, but their original name in Home Alone is the Wet Bandits.
