Neville Longbottom uses the Sword of Gryffindor to kill Nagini in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

During the Battle of Hogwarts, Neville draws the sword from the Sorting Hat and beheads Nagini, Lord Voldemort’s final surviving Horcrux. Destroying Nagini removes the last magical protection linking Voldemort to immortality, allowing Harry’s final confrontation with Voldemort to end decisively.

The sword is significant because it was forged by goblins for Godric Gryffindor and can absorb substances that strengthen it, including basilisk venom. Harry previously used the sword to destroy Horcruxes, but Neville becomes the character who uses it against Nagini in the film’s climactic battle.
