In Halo: Reach, the Noble Team member associated with the sniper rifle is Jun-A266.
Jun is a Spartan-III and the team’s reconnaissance and sniper specialist. He commonly carries the M392 Designated Marksman Rifle or a sniper weapon, reflecting his role as a long-range scout. His calm personality contrasts with the more openly aggressive styles of some other Noble Team members.
Near the end of Halo: Reach, Jun escorts Dr. Catherine Halsey away from the planet. Unlike most of Noble Team, he survives the game’s final battles, although later Halo material provides limited direct information about his subsequent career.
The other named Spartans can create confusion because Noble Team members often exchange weapons during missions. Carter leads the team, Jorge is the heavy-weapons specialist, Emile favors close combat, and the player controls Noble Six. Jun is the team’s clearest sniper specialist.
