In Halo 3, what is the name of the UNSC frigate commanded by Miranda Keyes?

In Halo 3, the UNSC frigate commanded by Miranda Keyes is Forward Unto Dawn.

Forward Unto Dawn is a Charon-class light frigate in the UNSC Navy. Miranda Keyes commands the vessel during the Earth campaign and the pursuit of the Prophet of Truth. The ship serves as a mobile base for human operations and is closely associated with the final stages of the original Halo trilogy.

The frigate transports UNSC and allied forces through the portal to the Ark, the remote installation where the Covenant leader intends to activate the Halo array. Near the end of Halo 3, Forward Unto Dawn attempts to escape as the newly constructed replacement ring is activated. Its two separated sections create the basis for the story’s closing fate for Master Chief.

It is easy to confuse this ship with the Pillar of Autumn from Combat Evolved or In Amber Clad from Halo 2. Forward Unto Dawn is the frigate specifically linked to Miranda Keyes and Halo 3’s climax.
