In Fortnite Battle Royale, the small settlement associated with pizza and taco businesses is Tomato Town.
Tomato Town was one of Fortnite’s original named locations on the Chapter 1 island. Its most recognizable landmark was Uncle Pete’s Pizza Pit, topped by a giant rotating tomato sign. The location was compact, making it useful for quick early-game looting but also leaving players exposed to nearby opponents.
The wording sometimes causes confusion because Tomato Town was a named point of interest rather than a formal geographic region. Players may also remember Pizza Pit locations from later Fortnite maps and alternate realities, including Chapter 2’s Pizza Pit, but those locations deliberately echo the original Tomato Town restaurant.
Tomato Town became especially memorable through Fortnite culture and the viral song “Chug Jug With You,” whose opening verse mentions wiping out Tomato Town. Epic has repeatedly revisited tomato-themed locations, including Tomato Temple and other Pizza Pit landmarks, preserving the area’s place in Fortnite history.
