In Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, what is the name of the continent?

The story behind the answer

In Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, the continent is called Magvel. It is a separate setting from the continents used in many earlier Fire Emblem games, including Archanea, Valentia, and Elibe.

Magvel is divided among six nations: Renais, Frelia, Grado, Jehanna, Rausten, and the newer republic of Carcino. Five of the major nations protect Sacred Stones, magical gems that were used centuries earlier to seal away the soul of the Demon King, Fomortiis. That history gives the continent its central political and religious conflict.

The game begins when the Grado Empire invades Renais and starts destroying the Sacred Stones. The protagonists, the royal twins Eirika and Ephraim, travel across Magvel while gathering allies and trying to prevent the Demon King’s return. Ylisse belongs to the setting of Fire Emblem Awakening, Valentia is the setting of Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, and Elibe is home to The Binding Blade and The Blazing Blade. None is the continent of The Sacred Stones.
