In Fire Emblem: Fates, the route featuring the kingdom of Hoshido as its main setting is Birthright. In this storyline, Corrin chooses their biological family and joins Hoshido after being raised in the opposing kingdom of Nohr.
Birthright presents Hoshido’s campaign as a defensive war against Nohrian invasion. Its maps and story events take Corrin through Hoshidan territories, where they reunite with Ryoma, Takumi, Hinoka, and Sakura. The route generally follows the series’ traditional structure, with players recruiting units and advancing through battles while building supports.
The names of the three routes are easy to mix up. Conquest follows Corrin’s decision to remain with Nohr, while Revelation rejects both sides and uncovers the hidden kingdom of Valla. “Vagrant” is not a Fates route. Birthright and Conquest were released as separate versions, while Revelation was distributed as downloadable content and later included in bundled editions.
