In Disney’s The Owl House, what is the name of the school for young witches?

In Disney’s The Owl House, the school for young witches is Hexside School of Magic and Demonics.

Hexside is a secondary school on the Boiling Isles, where Luz Noceda studies magic after entering the demon realm. The school teaches witches through different magical tracks, including abomination, bard, illusion, oracle, plant, potion, and healing magic.

The school’s students and staff are central to the series. Luz develops friendships with Willow Park, Gus Porter, and Amity Blight, while Principal Bump oversees Hexside. The school initially enforces a restrictive track system, but that structure changes as the characters challenge the ruling authorities.

The series was created by Dana Terrace and premiered on Disney Channel in 2020. Hexside is not the same place as the Owl House, which is Eda Clawthorne’s home and the series’ other major setting. The unusual word “Demonics” is part of the school’s official name.
