In Disney's Frozen, which actress provides the original English voice of Anna?

Kristen Bell provides the original English voice of Anna in Disney's Frozen.

Bell was cast as Anna, the younger princess of Arendelle, while Idina Menzel voiced her sister Elsa. Bell had previously worked in television and film, but Frozen became one of her most internationally recognized voice performances.

Anna is written as energetic, optimistic, and socially awkward, contrasting with Elsa's more guarded personality. Bell recorded the character's dialogue and songs during the film's long production process, while the animation team developed Anna's expressions and movement around the character's personality.

A common mix-up is identifying Menzel as Anna's voice because she performs the film's best-known song, “Let It Go.” Menzel voices Elsa; Bell voices Anna and sings Anna's musical numbers, including “For the First Time in Forever” with Menzel.
