In Disney's Enchanted, which actress plays Giselle?

In Disney's Enchanted, Amy Adams plays Giselle.

Giselle begins the film as an animated princess in the fairy-tale kingdom of Andalasia. After being pushed into a magical portal by Queen Narissa, she arrives in modern-day New York City, where she is portrayed in live action by Adams.

The role combines traditional Disney-princess traits with a fish-out-of-water comedy performance. Adams received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for the part, making Giselle one of the few Disney princess-style roles recognized in that category. The film shifts between animation and live action, and its songs were written by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz.
