In Creed III, Adonis Creed manages heavyweight champion Felix Chavez before facing Damian Anderson.
After retiring from boxing, Adonis builds a career as a promoter and manager. Felix Chavez is one of the fighters connected to Adonis’s new professional life. Adonis helps guide Felix toward a major championship opportunity, but Damian’s return disrupts that plan.
Damian was once Adonis’s childhood friend and boxing partner. After years in prison, he wants the opportunity he believes Adonis took from him. The conflict eventually leads Adonis back into the ring for an exhibition fight.
Felix Chavez is played by José Benavidez Jr. He should not be confused with Ricky Conlan from Creed or Mason Dixon from Rocky Balboa, both of whom are champions from earlier films.
