Peter Jones has appeared in every UK series of Dragon's Den since the programme began in 2005.
Jones is a British entrepreneur and investor who joined the original BBC panel alongside Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Simon Woodroffe and Doug Richard. As other investors have left and been replaced, Jones has remained a continuous member of the UK version's main panel.
He is associated with investments in technology, retail, food and consumer products. His business career includes interests in mobile communications, media and leisure, and he has also appeared in other television business programmes.
The UK programme has changed its lineup many times, so viewers sometimes confuse long-serving investors with original cast members. Jones is the enduring exception: he was present at the beginning and continued through subsequent series, including periods when several other original dragons had departed.
