In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Eivor leads the Viking settlement in England.
Eivor is the game's central Viking raider and can be played as either a male or female version. After leaving Norway with their clan, Eivor helps establish Ravensthorpe in England and works to build alliances among the region's kingdoms and rulers.
The game is set in the late ninth century, during the Viking expansion into Anglo-Saxon England. Eivor's activities include settlement management, raids, political negotiations, exploration, and conflict with the Order of the Ancients.
Sigurd is Eivor's adoptive brother and an important leader, but he is not the player character. Ragnar Lothbrok belongs to earlier Viking history and is referenced through the game's world, while Alfred the Great is the Anglo-Saxon king opposing Viking forces. Those figures are therefore easy alternatives but not the settlement's protagonist.
