Eivor's Viking clan is trying to settle in England in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
The game follows Eivor, a Viking raider who leads the Raven Clan from Norway to England during the ninth century. The clan establishes a settlement in England and builds alliances with regional rulers while becoming involved in the conflict between the Hidden Ones and the Order of the Ancients.
Norway remains part of the story, especially during the opening chapters and later optional exploration, but England is the principal settlement and political landscape. Ireland appears in the expansion Wrath of the Druids, while Francia is the setting of The Siege of Paris expansion. Those locations can make the game's geography easy to mix up.
Valhalla draws on the historical Viking expansion into Anglo-Saxon England, but Eivor and the central narrative are fictionalized. The game also presents historical figures and kingdoms, including Alfred of Wessex, while adapting them to the series' secret-history framework.
