In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, which twins lead the Frye family?

The story behind the answer

Jacob and Evie Frye lead the Frye family in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. The twin Assassins are the game's two playable protagonists and operate in London during the Industrial Revolution.

Jacob is more impulsive and focuses on building a gang called the Rooks. Evie is more methodical and concentrates on Assassin investigations, stealth, and finding an artifact linked to the First Civilization. Their different approaches shape both the story and the gameplay.

Syndicate is set in 1868, when London is dominated by industrial growth, crowded neighborhoods, railways, and powerful criminal organizations. The Frye twins travel from Crawley to London and challenge the Templar influence maintained by Crawford Starrick.

The Fryes are distinct from the Kenway family of earlier games and from modern-day characters such as Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane. Their shared protagonist role is also unusual within the series, which more often centers its historical campaign on one principal Assassin.
