In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, which pair of twins leads the campaign in Victorian London?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, the campaign is led by the twins Jacob and Evie Frye.

Jacob and Evie are Assassins who operate in London during the Industrial Revolution. They arrive in the city in 1868 and work to weaken Templar control by building their own criminal organization, the Rooks. The game allows players to switch between the twins, whose missions and abilities emphasize different approaches.

Jacob is generally associated with direct combat and street-level gang operations, while Evie focuses more heavily on stealth and finding the Pieces of Eden. Their partnership gives Syndicate a dual-protagonist structure unusual among the main games in the series.

The Frye twins also interact with historical figures including Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens, and Alexander Graham Bell. Syndicate was released in 2015 and is set after the events of Assassin's Creed Unity. Jacob and Evie should not be confused with Arno Dorian and Élise, who belong to Unity's French Revolutionary storyline.
