Jacob Frye is Assassin's Creed Syndicate's primary playable male Assassin. He and his twin sister, Evie Frye, leave Crawley for London in 1868 to challenge Templar control during the Industrial Revolution.
Jacob is portrayed as an impulsive fighter who favors direct action. He forms the Rooks, a street gang that helps the Assassins contest districts controlled by the Blighters. Evie, by contrast, is more focused on stealth, investigation, and locating an Isu artifact known as a Piece of Eden.
Both twins are playable, so calling Jacob the sole protagonist would be inaccurate. Syndicate alternates between their missions and gives each distinct abilities and equipment. Jacob's identity is also separate from Henry Green, the London Assassin who assists the twins and was born Jayadeep Mir.
