Frye is the surname shared by playable twins Jacob and Evie in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Jacob Frye and Evie Frye are Assassins working in London during the Industrial Revolution. The pair leave Crawley for the capital in 1868 and work to weaken Templar control while building their own organization, the Rooks.
Jacob is generally associated with direct combat and street-level gang operations, while Evie specializes more heavily in stealth and investigation. Players can switch between them during much of the campaign, although some missions are assigned to a particular twin.
The Frye twins are not members of the Kenway family, despite Syndicate’s connection to earlier Assassin’s Creed stories. The game also features historical figures including Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens, and Alexander Graham Bell, giving its Victorian London setting a broad historical cast.
